If you haven’t soul searched and questioned your your purpose, vision, belief or cause [your WHY] – then you need to!
The truth is we can’t rely on luck or winging it to get us by in life, simply hoping things will work out the way we want. Ultimately if you want a desired destiny, you’ve got to go out and get it. Put the effort in. Create it. You are in control.
Creating a life plan can seem a bit daunting or overwhelming if you haven’t ventured down that pathway before. But it doesn’t have to be. The best part of planning is the actual planning process itself. That self-discovery piece of the puzzle, where you’re diving deep, looking into different aspects of yourself and your lifestyle, blinkers off, determining what makes you shine and where you seek personal growth.
Also, having a plan doesn’t mean you can’t be spontaneous. A simple yet flexible blueprint you can refer to as you invest in personal development and activities you enjoy can continue to evolve and serve you well into the foreseeable future.
Support yourself by creating a plan in a format practical to you. This initially could be in the form of a vision board, a note on your phone, life-related inspiration statements in Bloom* (IOS app only), Evernote or a document you keep in the Cloud that’s always accessible wherever you might be. You never know when inspiration can strike! Whatever format you choose make it something practical that you’ll use and enjoy.
Look into all areas of your life and determine the shifts you need to make to help you achieve your vision. Leave no room in your life for “what ifs”.
